Billy Stephens, Pastor

Pastor Billy was born in Gainesville, FL and raised in Starke, Fl. Billy has been in full-time ministry since 2001.  He is a husband, father, follower of Jesus, and pastor. Billy and his wife Dede have 4 sons, Will, Grant, Evan, and Asher.

 

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock." Matthew 7:24-25 

Ryan West,
Minister of music & Discipleship

Ryan was born and raised in Thomasville, GA. He and his wife, Meredith have two children, a 3 year old son, Myles, and a newborn son, Brooks. Ryan became a Christian in 2015 and pursued a call to Ministry shortly after. Ryan is a graduate of Baptist College of Florida where he obtained a degree in Worship Leadership.

Dede Stephens, Children's Ministry

Dede was born and raised in Lake Butler, Fl. She is also the wife of our pastor, is a Pre-K Teacher at Irwin County Elementary School in addition to the Children's Ministry Director here at OBC. Dede and Pastor Billy have four sons together, Will, Grant, Evan, and Asher.

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God,who loved me and gave himself for me."

Anita Leverett, Student MinistrY & office admin

Anita Leverett, an Irwin County native, has been with OBC since 2014. She is continuing her ministerial education in Biblical Studies through Toccoa Falls College.

 

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
